RFID is one of the most exciting and revolutionary technologies to be introduced in a number of years. Its impact on us as IT professionals and as consumers will be enormous. Wal-Mart and Target have mandated its use by their suppliers.

This month's meeting will provide a primer on the RFID technology and will also include a live demonstration of RFID tags in use. It will be an informative and interesting session that will put you ahead of the curve on RFID.

Our speaker is Jack Cox, Senior Consultant for CapTech Ventures of Richmond.

Jack is the Director of Advanced Technology at CapTech Ventures, Inc. where he is currently focused on development of software which will expedite the integration of RFID technology into enterprise systems. Prior to his work at CapTech, Mr. Cox led a software development team for Philips Semiconductors.
