SPECIAL PRESENTATION AT THE SUN USER'S GROUP, THURSDAY, JANUARY 8, 2004

ENTERPRISE APPLICATION INTEGRATION (EAI) MADE SIMPLE:
LOW HANGING FRUIT FOR YOUR EAI BASKET

Is your IT organization plagued with any of these problems...

Integration of new or updated applications is a constant drain on IT resources?

Enterprise capabilities are limited by application or platform boundaries?

Information security is managed separately within each application?

Stand-alone applications each contain their own source of user identity?

Inadequate, secure access to applications from outside of the corporate infrastructure?

Doug Nassaur, President of True North Technology, will show us how these problems can be solved with easily understood tools and methods.  Doug will demystify what often seem to be daunting problems with no clearly definable solution.

Doug is the former CIO of E*TRADE and brings with him a wealth of practical experience.  Successful engagements include BellSouth.net, Holiday Inn, Dollar Tree Stores, City of Richmond Schools and GTE Wireless.  His presentation style is engaging and informative.

The company has practical knowledge of software development and integration using J2EE and application server technology, as well as significant industry experience with Linux, wireless data applications, grid and distributed computing, and ISP infrastructure.  Their partnership status in addition to Sun Microsystems, where True North Technology is certified as an Elite Software Specialty iForce Partner, includes companies like BEA, Apple and Oracle.

This will be a good session to invite your boss or someone else in your organization concerned with Enterprise Application Integration.  Both IT Managers and SA's will come away with useful knowledge on one of IT's most pressing issues.

The Sun user community in Richmond is growing, and you are an important part of it! We look forward to your participation in the User's Group and are confident that you will find it technically enriching.  Bring an associate.  Just RSVP below.
