One of today's most pressing issues is Server Consolidation, and that will be the topic of our November 8th Meeting.

Business considerations of consolidation include total cost of ownership (TCO), staffing, technology funding and budget optimization.

Technical considerations for consolidation include server proliferation, changing storage architectures, growth of heterogeneous server farms, increased technical complexity, and reduction of the ability to manage the technical environment effectively.

Jason Holland, IT Consulting Practice Manager for Strategic Technolgies, and Mark Sherman, one of Strategic Technologies' consultants in this area, will discuss both the Business and Technical considerations of Server Consolidation. Case study material will be presented to demonstrate how server and storage consolidation meets the needs of business and technical teams.

Follow the road around to the four way stop intersection. At this stop diagonally to your right will be the 5-story GEFA HQ Building. Turn left for Visitor Parking. Additional parking is located behind the Headquarters Building as well.
