Vic Winkler, Chief Technologist for Security in Client Services US, will talk about Security Features in Solaris 9 and Solaris 10.

The talk will include an overview of Sun security across Sun's products and will focus on Solaris 9 security features and the latest security features and technologies that are integrated into the Solaris 10 Operating System.

* Predictive Self Healing
* Trusted Solaris under Solaris 10

Vic Winkler, Chief Technologist for Security in Client Services U.S., has over 20 years of experience in Information Security (INFOSEC), information systems design, operations, implementation, and testing. He is a published researcher in INFOSEC, and an expert in intrusion/anomaly detection in complex systems. Among other duties, Vic is responsible for information security support and expertise throughout the Public Sector Area for US DoD, Federal, Homeland Security, and State and Local. He frequently serves as the Sun representative for industry groups or Government/Industry Committees.

Genworth Financial is located on West Broad Street in the Brookfield Office Park.
